To continue researching plasma therapies to combat COVID-19, Grifols is collecting plasma from patients who have recovered from the disease through its network of more than 300 donation centers in the U.S. and Europe, the largest network of donation centers in the world, and through a collaboration with blood banks in Spain. The generosity, solidarity and commitment of donors make it possible to continue developing potential treatments.

Plasma from recovered COVID-19 donors contains specific antibodies against the SARS-CoV-2 virus that can help others overcome the disease. With these antibodies, Grifols is developing treatments such as the anti-SARS-CoV-2 hyperimmune globulin, which could increase the response of patients' immune systems to the virus, reducing the progression of the disease.

If you have recovered from COVID-19 and would like to donate plasma, please contact a nearby donation center or blood bank

At Grifols, we are immensely grateful to all the donors who, with their generous gesture, make it possible for us to continue researching and developing solutions to address the health challenges we face as a society.
