About the award
The GHAGA is a periodical award focused on encouraging health care providers, hemophilia treatment centers as well as hemophilia societies to submit proposals that would contribute to:
- Improving education (educational stays in other centers, workshops, pathology training and programs to educate patients and families).
- Supporting outreach (endorsing reference centers to work on better logistics or facilities, support national or local registries, helping to develop hemophilia treatment centers processes).
- Strengthening diagnosis (helping to improve patient care and quality control in hemophilia treatment centers).
- Facilitating access to treatment (supporting patient and family travels, improving logistics).
The program offers four awards of up to €50,000 each to participants whose proposals best match the program's objectives, while meeting all the selection criteria, as assessed by a Review Committee.
