Currently, 60% of our staff are women, 41% of whom hold senior management positions. Since 2021, Grifols has been included in the Bloomberg Gender Equality Index in recognition of its efforts to promote women's professional careers and greater female representation across the organization.

Employee resource groups

Employee-driven resource groups at Grifols, such as the Black Employee Alliance and the Women's Leadership Initiative, both in the U.S., are forums in which employees choose to participate to share interests and life experiences in support of one another, while fostering diversity and inclusivity in the workplace.

Training and development

At Grifols, we are constantly seeking new ways to support our employees in their professional development and career growth.

Through extensive ongoing training, we offer employees on-site courses and learning tools to provide them with the necessary knowledge to do their jobs with excellence while developing their skills

The Grifols Academy

Grifols created its own Academy in 2009 to support training and career development for employees. Our education and training programming is imparted through three different academies: Plasmapheresis, Professional Development and Transfusion Medicine.

Grifols' Health and Safety Policy guarantees that all the group's companies in Spain, international subsidiaries and collaborating companies carry out their activities in compliance with the regulations, rules and provisions applicable in each country according to national legislation and in compliance with Grifols' own safety standards.

The company also has a Mental Health Policy to contribute positively to the well-being and mental health of our workforce. This policy includes a series of actions and commitments aimed to promote mental health and well-being, prevent risks in this area and support individuals with mental health challenges.
